Double Early Tulips are also known as Peony Tulips, for their showy blooms can be just as impressive. How to Plant Early Blooming Tulips?
To plant Early Blooming Tulips the bulbs should be planted with the nose of the bulb upward (or the roots facing downwards) and the Abba Double Tulip should be planted roughly 6-8″ deep and 4-5″ apart from one another.
Note: For some bulbs you may not be able to tell which way is up or down, in these cases just plant them on their side and they will adjust on their own.
